Nurturing Your Inner Family: An IFS-Informed Therapeutic Book Group for Adults

Have you been curious about the Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach to therapy? Interested in starting to learn more about your own inner family system?

Never even heard about IFS, but want to learn more about a new way to process trauma, feel more internally aligned, and have more insight about yourself?

Join us for a therapist-led discussion and processing group focused on the book Parts Work, by Tom Holmes with Lauri Holmes. This inviting book is beginner-friendly, and adds a cozy element to self-knowledge.

You are welcome to come join us for 8 weeks of this trauma aware group where we will be discussing this wonderful book, working through the exercises, getting to know our parts, and speaking about what comes up for us through this process.

Where: This group will be meeting on an online meeting space

When: The group will meet weekly on Thursday evenings (October 15th to December 10th, with a break on November 26th) from 6:15–7:45pm PT.

Who: The group is limited to 8 spots for adults age 18+ who are physically located in WA state.

Cost: is $75 per session.

This group will be facilitated by

S. Marissa Stein, MS, LMHC, CST, NCC (they/them), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, and Nationally Certified Counselor. Marissa is Neurodivergent identified, and has training in IFS and also uses IFS as one of their main approaches in their practice.

and

Ro Romero-Hermoso (she/her), a graduate student intern studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University. Ro is currently working on a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Drama Therapy and will also be brining in some Drama therapy exercises into the space.
