LGBTGEQIAP+

Stigma-free, affirming, therapy for LGBTGEQIAP+ folx. I offer a welcoming and non-judgmental space where you are supported in being your authentic self. As a queer and non-binary identified person, I am committed to helping clients of all genders, sexes, sexual identities and expressions, and consensual relationship dynamics feel not only safe, but respected. You are welcome here.

Kink/BDSM

Some people like spicy food and some do not. We don’t shame people for liking spicy food but we do as a society tend to whisper about folx who like “spicy” sex. There is nothing wrong with wanting more or different things from your sex life. Whether you are in a relationship dynamic, or engaging in solo play, kink and BDSM are nothing to shy away from if that is what you are interested in.

It can be overwhelming to begin addressing an area of interest especially if it is one where there are feelings of not belonging, being othered, or being taboo. This is not something that you need to worry about when working with me. I offer an environment where talking about how to explore that side of yourself is not off limits.

Belief & Value Systems

Your spirituality, magical practice, or belief system (or lack thereof) is an important part of who you are and does not need to be kept in the dark. Whether you are a witch, animist, magician, Satanist or Pagan it does not matter and you do not have to hide that part of your life. When working on your mental health all aspects of your life need to be considered and addressed. Balance only happens when we can look at both what is in the light and what is in the shadows.

NEURODIVERGENT / NEUROQUEER

As a neurodivergent person myself (Autistic and ADHDer!) I know how important and validating it can be to work with a clinician who understands the experience personally. I offer a space where your experience isn’t pathologized, and where we can work together for understanding so that you get the support you need to get to where you want to be. I also love working with couples where there may be a mixed neurotype find ways to better understand and communicate with each other about sex and relational issues.

Disability / Chronic Illness

While chronic illness and disability can come with various physical stressors and barriers to daily functioning, the biggest challenge often comes from living within a society that is not designed with disability and illness in mind. Disability justice is important to me as someone who lives with disability, and I bring this into the therapeutic space as well. Whether you are looking for a therapist to help navigate sexual issues that may arise due to illness, injury, or disability, navigating relational dynamics that are affected when one or more partners are living with chronic illness and/or disability, or you are an individual seeking therapeutic support from someone who works with disability justice as a framework, I am here to support you in your therapeutic goals.

Health at Every Size

As a health at every size (HAES) clinician, I don’t look at weight, body size, or body composition as focal point of the therapeutic relationship. I reject diet and fitness culture, and acknowledge that fatphobia and “Western” ideas of beauty standards are rooted in racism and don’t promote better mental health. ALL bodies are welcome in my practice, and I am interested in promoting body neutrality and working towards self-love and self-acceptance.
